The portal must be activated using a Water Bucket instead of a Flint and Steel. The Aether mod was originally discontinued and development continued with The Aether II, however the mod was ported to Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 in 2018 by Modding Legacy as The Aether: Legacy or Aether Legacy. The pack is designed by me and with some help of the team from my Discord server. The Aether has an official successor, called Aether II. The Aether contains various new mobs and dungeons with powerful loot. The Aether is made of floating islands, similar to The End, but with more life and color. The Aether (sometimes referred to just as Aether, or Aether I) is a mod originally made by a team of Kingbdogz, Kodaichi, Shockah, Flan, 303 and later Saspiron, to add a new dimension called The Aether, designed to be the opposite of The Nether. The Gold Key is used to unlock the Locked Chests behind a secret wall in the back of the room. The chest will have several of the best items in the game, but players often miss the chest because of the unusual place it is located.This page is about the original Aether mod. He drops the Gold Key and the Sun Altar when defeated. It is also a good idea to go into this fight with a lot of Regeneration Stones to regenerate health. It is highly recommended that you go into this fight with Phoenix Armor as it protects you from fire/lava damage. If you come in contact with him, you will catch on fire.
Highlands First Location, is based in the Highlands and the Magentic Hills. This map takes place in Other Dimensions, in a generation of floating islands. This collaboration it was made thanks to kingbdogz who got the Aether rights. She looks like other Valkyries except she only spawns in her throne room. Winds of the Aether is a Minecraft Dungeons DLC relased in 2021, is a reference to the Aether mod and the old kingbdogz work. She rules over the Valkyries from her throne room in the heart of the Silver Dungeon. She is the second-hardest boss in the Aether. As of now, she is not present in the Aether II. He cannot be harmed by any weapons but he will harm you by hitting you with fireballs. The Valkyrie Queen is the boss of the Silver Dungeon in The Aether I mod. You must hit his ice form before it melts, and continue this until he dies. When it hits him, he will turn into ice, but a smaller version of him will rush at you (only on easy difficulty or higher). At this point, he will close off the exit and proceed to attack you. After talking to him for a while, he will become angry. Upon right-clicking, he will talk to you. To fight him, you must right-click on him. He will sometimes fire an ice ball, which you must hit back at him. The Sun Spirit is the hardest boss in the Aether Mod. He will do so by rushing at you and/or firing fireballs into the room. It is only possible to mine it after the Golden dungeon boss has been slain, but there is a bug where it can be mined before that. It has a red appearance and closely resembles Light Hellfire Stone. To fight him, you must right-click on him. Hellfire Stone is found in Golden Dungeons and is a decorative block. The Sun Spirit is the hardest boss in the Aether Mod.
